Meet Me
25 Years of UX Design Experience as a Music Artist and Producer

Chris Lorensson
Founder / UX Design Leader
I’m the founder of Form & Fader, a UX design practice focused on shaping the future of music technology. For 25 years, I’ve led design work at record labels and creative agencies. And for 28 years, I’ve made music as an artist and producer. Form & Fader is where those two paths converge.
This is a passion project, but also a professional one. I help teams design better tools for making music—tools that feel intuitive, inclusive, and built with real users in mind. The video reviews I publish are just one part of that work: a way to elevate design conversations within the music tech world and advocate for better user experiences.
Whether I’m collaborating on a new product or analyzing an existing one, I approach each challenge with the same care, curiosity, and belief that great design makes music more human.
